Seahorses big and small
I know a lot of people like seahorses and perhaps view them as these regal creatures. I have to admit I find them short on having cool features and lacking in coordination, especially the big ones which seem to spend most of the time crashing head-first into the sand and very little time perched nobly upright like you see in most photographs. The super tiny pygmy seahorses are little bastards to photograph because they are so tiny you are constantly searching for them in the viewfinder, they are often facing the wrong way and you have to sit there and wait for them to turn, and they are usually in the most inconvenient spot that you end up twisting and turning into unnatural positions to shoot them. The following photographs are some of my favorites and required quite a bit of patience and pain to achieve!
